Fall Frolic For Nepal: October 15, 2022

We would like to invite you to reconnect with new and old friends at a dance party at

Crestwood Community Hall on Saturday, October 15th at 7 pm. This fun fundraiser is an opportunity to raise money to help build a community health, education, and cultural centre in the small rural village of Juving, Nepal.

The Juving Nepal Development Society is an Edmonton-based registered charity that supports community development projects chosen by local residents. It has already funded two school buildings for which they provide teacher wages and school supplies.

There will be live music by the fabulous Edmonton dance band, the Counterfitz, that was recently named Entertainer of the Year! The Counterfitz LIVE! Tickets are $100, with an $80 tax deductible receipt. There will be a cash bar with all profits going to the Society, a small silent auction and door prizes! Please invite others, learn about the latest developments at Juving and come dance the night away.

Please note: when you send an e-transfer for your tickets, please include your email and postal address in the "comments" section. This way, we can send and record your tax receipt.

Nepal’s tourism industry has been devastated by the pandemic and your help for this remote community in the Himalayas is important and so very much appreciated. Tickets can be purchased by e-transfer to juving.nepal.society.ATB@gmail.com.
